Sabrina's move to New York City
(As told by Sabrina)

What a strange adventure this has been!   In September 1997, my parents starting hiding all of the things in the house from me.  I thought this was a game, so I chewed open some of the boxes they were hiding stuff in, but they got angry and I figured out not to do this.  So, for a month I sat by and watched everything get hidden from my sight.

In October, I got a new "home." Daddy "hid" my wire crate and put me in a new plastic one.  I liked it because it was dark inside, but sometimes I want to see out of all directions, and I can't do this anymore.  Daddy said that I'll see the wire crate in a few months.  I don't understand him.

One day, Daddy put me in an empty room in the house for a few hours.  When he let me out, the house was empty!  I thought this was fun as my toys were still there and I had lots of room to play.  The next night, Daddy put me in my new crate and some other people put me and the crate in the back of a truck.   I didn't know where we were going, but I loved the wind!

After a short ride, we got to a place with a lot of loud noises.  This scared me a little bit, but I liked all the people that were running around.  They put me on a cart and wheeled me around to different places.  After Daddy left me, I was loaded into this HUGE thing that I'd never seen before.   I'd seen much smaller ones in the sky before, but this one was huge!  It was dark and a bit chilly in this thing (Daddy told me later it was a plane, whatever that is) but I enjoyed it for awhile.

Several hours later, they took me from the plane and wheeled me inside.  There I saw Mommy and Daddy again!  I was so happy to see them - especially Mommy as I hadn't seen her in a month.  A very nice man helped Daddy take apart my crate while Mommy and I played.  Then I met Grandpa and we all got into a car together.

When the car ride was over, I moved into my new home!   My crate and all of my things are there now and I like the new place.  There is a park with a dog run really close by and Daddy takes me to meet new friends all the time.  I don't much like the loud noises, but all of the action is great!

Well, I have to go now, but I'll update you on any new happenings here in the big city!
