While I Slept

While I slept I dreamed of her,
She helped me through each and every day,
And she was always there to guide me through,
While I dreamed.

While I thought beautiful thoughts of her,
She would tuck me in each night,
And I would look and giver her a kiss,
While I thought.

Now she’s gone, sleeps peaceful though,
While the rain falls to the ground,
And I think and know she’s still around,
While I think.
